Idaho and Montana, You Better Watch Out!

Recently (like two months ago) Idaho gave the okay to hunters to kill 220 of the 1000 wolves in the state. Hunting season began on September 1st and Montana is following in Idaho's footsteps by declaring October to be the beginning of wolf hunting season.

I am appalled at this. The red wolves were almost exterminated from the face of this planet because we allowed them to hunt and destroy their territory! In fact the last red wolf in the wild was killed in 1905. Although we helped them come back, their numbers are only at 300 with 200 of them being in captivity. Now we want to repeat this idiocy with the gray wolf? Are you serious?!

The numbers of gray wolves in the United States is only around 12,000. I know this may seem like a lot, but when compared to the white-tailed deer's population at 30 million, this is ridiculous!

I am completely against the decision to destroy the wolves, if they're bugging your cattle, CAPTURE THEM AND REMOVE THEM FROM THE AREA! It's really not as hard as you're letting it seem!

Sorry for the rant, I'm just editing a paper on the topic of wolves and I remembered this.
